We have worked for many different wineries sharing over 13 years of wine industry experience. We had a wonderful opportunity to start Domaine La Due while Douglas was working at a large Napa Valley winery. We started with 95 cases of 1999 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and have learned a lot since then. Having experienced a multitude of winemaking philosophies, we know that great wines start in the vineyards. Knowing what a vineyard has created in the past gives us a good basis to understand what we can and more importantly what we should not do while creating our wines. We utilize fruit from the entire Napa Valley, allowing us to consistently produce great wines. Our flexibility in sourcing also allows us to bring our wines to you at prices below the average Napa Valley wines. We
create our wines to be well balanced and food friendly.
While quality is our focus, we strive to reflect the varietal character
as well as allowing the terroir to show through in our small lots of
ultra-premium Napa Valley wines. We
